U13 Update and “B” Tryouts
Carnarvon Fastball is excited to announce that we will be offering a U13B team in addition to our U13C division fastball for the upcoming 2025 Spring season. Geoff Welham is leading the assessments and organization of the U13B division.
Both B and C divisions are structured around a competitive play model, with an emphasis on skill-building in a positive, supportive, and fun, team-first environment. Typically, B players have several years of experience and demonstrate an advanced level of skill and competitive drive. The B division will also have an increased focus on positional specialization. Players selected for the B division are expected to have a high level of commitment to games, practices, and tournament play. The C division will continue to foster opportunities for both experienced and new players, with opportunities to learn all positions.
The U13B team will consist of a combination of players born in 2012 and 2013. Attendance at the tryout is required in order to be considered for the B team. However, if there are extenuating circumstances that prevent a player from being able to attend the tryout, special requests can be made to the head coach in advance. In those cases, arrangements for later assessment, in addition to the coaching staff’s knowledge of that player’s playing ability and fit for the team, would be considered.

Saturday, September 28th from 3 pm-5 pm at Firefighters Park.
Sunday, September 29th from 3 pm-5 pm (as required).
Players should bring their glove, helmet, face mask, and bat (if they have one). Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in and get set up to be ready to begin at 3 pm.
