7U Baseball

Age Requirements:

7U is for children born in 2017 - 2018.

Schedule:

Teams meet once per week on Saturdays from 9:00 - 10:00 am. Games will be held on the 15U field at Firefighter's Park. The season will begin in mid-April and run through mid-June.

Gear Requirements:

Your child will receive a team t-shirt and Carnarvon Ball Club hat on the first day of the season. This is their uniform, so please ensure that they wear it each time they come. They will also need a batting helmet, glove, and athletic support. Please ensure that you mark your child's name on everything. A white label or masking tape works well on the outside of the batting helmet and handwritten on labels on shirts, gloves, and hats.

Coaches & Team Selection:

This league is run entirely by volunteers. Thank you to those of you who volunteer to coach this season! Teams will be put together once registration is closed, so if you have anyone else that you would like to recruit, please get them to do so as soon as possible. Teams will be selected so that they have a mix of ages and genders. We will also endeavour to meet at least one friend or coach request, but no guarantees can be made.

Field Prep:

Near the start of the season, we will have our annual pre-season park clean-up day. The more hands available to help, the more efficiently the work will get done. Your brawn and tools will be greatly appreciated. It is a great kick-off to the season and a demonstration of the community at work - not to mention a great way to meet other Carnarvon families!
